Workshop 22nd March

Come and make a Pandora’s Box with me on Saturday. What would YOU leave inside, or place on the outside? How would you re-tell or reconfigure the myth? This theme sits well with the portable shrine (Worlds Within) that I made for the Being Woman exhibition. I’ve a wheelbarrow (literally) of beautiful old magazines from friends, boxes large and small, scissors and glue, creation is messy. ‘Unlock Your Creativity’ is a day when a number of the artists from @beingwoman2025 will be available to work with you in clay, painting, print, collage and sgraffito. While my work is principally in glass I use sketching, print, collage and painting to explore and extend my ideas - time spent as a secondary school art teacher largely involved teaching and learning at the same time. I’d recommend a day like this to anyone.
