Dropping in on the John Piper/Patrick Reyntiens memorial to Benjamin Britten in Aldeburgh’s lovely St Peter and St Paul to show folks. The window depicts The Prodigal Son, Curlew River and The Fiery Furnace in vivid colours and flowing shapes. My father had a passion for stained glass (also the works of Britten and Piper) and in later life was tremendously happy to have engaged in a creative correspondance with the late Patrick Reyntiens. So many connections in one nearby place.
