Things with Wings

Successful Elephant Hawk-moth extraction! We haven’t seen one around here before, and it was clinging very determinedly to a curtain. The postcard I grabbed on an unplanned winged theme was from Siena: The Rise of Painting last month at The National Gallery. My favourite part is lower left: St Margaret of Antioch taking absolutely no nonsense from the devil.
