Curious and experimental children’s fingers have worked havoc on certain fragile elements in the ‘cabinet of curiosities’ I brought into the gallery last week - so I am enjoying hunting up replacements. This eggshell was neatly clipped with just a small hinge of shell left holding the two parts together which suggests a happy hatching.
