I'm running VERY late here due to shows in December and January, classes and commissions. I usually hibernate and experiment for a while in the New Year. A December Open Studio day was followed by a week or so in Felixstowe breaking out the super bright colours. The coldest of cold snaps and Christmas Eve on Aldeburgh Beach. Lower left - I still ask kids 1&3 to make me something if they have time (#2 has other strengths) #3 did not have time but #1 came through with guns blazing. These ear muffs inspired by Dolce and Gabanna headphones from 2016 could be one of my favourite things ever? A visit to the inspired Foundling Museum in Holborn and topcentre, a ring stack for a Book Lover: Embossed spines and covers, marbled endplates and gold edges. The owner’s monogram and six favourite or apt books to name or wear. For me it it’s also the libraries I spent hours in and the sensory pleasure of trawling second-hand and antiquarian bookshops (Cecil Street, London and St Edwards Passage, Cambridge).
